KAI ASO is located at the foot of the Kuju mountain range, on the Senomoto Kogen overlooking the rolling plains of the Aso Gogaku and Gairin-zan, providing guests with a rich opportunity to experience the magnificent natural surroundings. On clear days it is possible to see Aso’s famous Nehanzo reclining Buddha, and guests can enjoy different aspects of the glorious scenery of Aso with the change of each season. Because all 12 “guestrooms” on the sprawling 26,480 m2 site are in fact independent guesthouses, guests can relax and enjoy a sense of privacy far from the everyday world. Moreover, each of the spacious guesthouses also has an open-air and indoor Jacuzzi, enabling guests to relax in luxury.
